There are a lot of women who like to wear black, simply because it’s slimming. But being that wearing all black, from head to toe, is currently a fashion trend, we think it’s about more than taking off a couple of pounds.

Black symbolizes elegance, power and even a hint of mystery. And we’re all for women representing all three of these things! That’s why I wanted to take a black timeless piece of clothing and show you how to incorporate it into an all black look that will be nothing but sort of stunning.
I love an all black look. Any time I want to add some edge or when I don’t know what to wear, I opt for all black. I’m sharing a few tips on how to style an all black look effortlessly.

The beautiful contrast of the muted shades in this abaya was the reason I picked it from the racks of S C I C C O S O. It is very simple, with no blings, lightweight, just the perfect kind of pullover you’d want as an easy wrap-up.

How to Wear All Black

Stay Away from Heavy Fabrics:

We’re sure you’ve been told again and again to stay away from big pieces covered in faux leathers, velvets and heavy fabrics when it’s hot. They’re thick which makes them great for keeping in the winter warmth. Pick lightweight, flowy and cool fabrics when it comes to picking an abaya.

Keep your outfit lose:

Black is known to absorb the heat in summer. Despite of that, the wrong concept that prevails is, “girl, don’t you feel hot under that abaya?”
The answer is, no. When you keep your outfit lose, it allows the air to pass and nothing is rmore comfortable than a black abaya.

Try layering, but only layer sleeveless things:

The thought of layering clothes during the summer can make even the strongest woman weep. But just incase, if you don’t want to button up your abaya, you can wear jersey sleeveless maxi dress underneath. And it doesn’t look that bad.

Add accessories:

By pairing a colored accessory with an all black look, it keeps it from feeling too dark. Think a golden watch, a black or neutral scarf, a golden sling bag, or a pair of gladiators like I selected. Your color doesn’t have to be bright either. I love adding a little bit of gold to black abayas, it makes the look more regal.

Let your toe breath:

Your feet are going to get warm enough, especially with black sandals. Stay away from shoes that will cage your toes in and let them breathe. Choose open toed shoes for summer to get rid of sweaty feet.

On top of everything, be bold and brave. And win the world with the most beautiful curve of your body; smile. img_2276
